Hubber Athletics

At Smethport Junior–Senior High, we believe that participation in athletics expands the educational experience and makes school more enjoyable. In addition to strengthening physical skills, students learn valuable life skills including how to work on a team, ideals of fairness and sportsmanship, self-discipline and responsibility, and respect for authority and teammates.

If you have questions regarding our athletics policy, please contact our athletics director, Mr. Richard Woodring. For concerns about student health and safety, contact our athletics trainer, Melissa O’Brien.

Football Playoffs

Football Flyer

The Hubbers will host Curwensville November 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the District IX Football Championships. The District IX Committee has implemented a new system of ticket sales for the playoffs throughout the school year. Tickets will be available at the gate or online through Hometown Ticketing. The online cost of the tickets will be $8.00 for adults and $4.00 for students. Hometown Ticketing charges a fee, which is about $1.20 per ticket. If you purchase tickets at the gate, the cost will be $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. There is not a cost savings to buy student tickets online and only about $0.80 per adult ticket in savings. Find all the details in our football playoffs flyer. Go Hubs!
